Create a backup then click Manage Backups to Archive your backup. Select your device from Locations in the Finder sidebar. We recommend that you do a backup using Finder. Always back up your data and files before installing beta versions of iOS. Please note that you are about to install beta software. ipsw file for your device and update using iTunes. I updated the Beta that just came out yesterday and tried the face ID again and no luck and the file still doesn't appear on the VPN Device Management. If you are installing a beta profile that automatically deletes itself after installation, you are not alone, as Apple is taking actions to completely drop beta profiles.Ĭurrently, you can still use IPSW files to update to the Developer beta, which can be easily found with the keyword "ipsw beta". I try this multiple times and without using the VPNs and nothing. I set up my iPhone in recovery mode and plug into my Macbook and try to restore it but it says the files that were downloaded are corrupt so I can't restore and update.

So I got into VPN and Device Management and the beta system is not showing up there so I can't delete it. So I chatted with an Apple help and they told me that face ID usually has issues with the beta system so we were trying to delete the system.

My face ID was not working and I tried to set up an alternative face but couldn't so I tried to reset my face ID and it just didn't work either (it keeps saying "place your iPhone lower" "place your iPhone higher"). I have an iPhone 13 Pro and the latest Beta update.

Hello! I found this subreddit when I was trying to figure out what was going on with my face ID.
